Alba specialize in the design, manufacture and supply of Oil and Gas production exchanger gaskets. Most commonly these are used in Shell and Tube exchangers and come in a variety of different styles and materials dependent on application and service. The most popular choice of gasket in these applications are Kammprofile gaskets. Kammprofiles consist of a solid metal core with serrations, faced with a soft facing material, such as PTFE or Graphite. Other specialist products are also supplied by Alba for these applications including Special Spiral wounds and more bespoke solutions such as Double Cone gaskets, fin-fan washers and heat exchanger spiral wounds.

Full Description

Kammprofile Gaskets offered by Alba are available in three profiles. The components can be produced from virtually any machinable material and can incorporate a variety of sealing faces selected based on media and temperature compatibility.

Kammprofile Style L profiled gaskets are commonly used for applications involving gaseous materials and high temperature differences in the inner and outer rings.

Kammprofile Style TG profiled gaskets are most often used with tongue and groove and male and female flanges.

Kammprofile Style F profiled gaskets are made for flat or raised face flanges and designed with built in centering rings.
